“I play music that moves me. My sets unfold slowly and with intention. I love to combine organic percussion, global influences, and electronic grooves into movement journeys that make space for release.
I like to experiment with format and structure. My background in film music and my love for electronic club music shape the pacing, atmosphere, and narrative in my sets.
I play for dancers. I focus on flow and let the music build without relying on peak-after-peak drops. I keep the atmosphere warm and give it time to go deep, with room for familiar tracks and shared moments of euphoria and lightness.
I've played at events such as Ambrosia, Free Flow, Maankaravaan, and festivals like Landjuweel and Ecstatic Dance Festival Holland.
As JF.HECTOR, I explore a deeper, more club-oriented sound rooted in hypnotic techno and leftfield house. I've played club nights at Maanzin (Ruigoord) and Radion, as well as live streams for Radio Radio, Sober Clubbing, and The Muddshow.”
